Voice Therapy That Gets to the Root of the Problem
Evidence-based, individualized care for voice disorders. Designed for people who depend on their voice.
Whether you are dealing with hoarseness that will not resolve, vocal fatigue that builds through the day, or a diagnosis like muscle tension dysphonia, vocal fold nodules, or paresis, voice therapy can help you understand what is happening and build a path forward.
I specialize in working with people whose voices are central to their lives and livelihoods: singers, actors, teachers, public speakers, and anyone whose voice demands feel bigger than the average person's. I also work with clients navigating voice changes related to aging, hormonal shifts, surgery, or neurological conditions.
Voice therapy is not a one-size-fits-all protocol. Every session is tailored to your voice, your goals, and the way your body responds. We work together using a combination of direct voice exercises, education about how your voice works, and strategies you can carry into your daily life and performance.
What to Expect
Your first session includes a detailed case history, a listening assessment of your voice, and a collaborative conversation about what you are experiencing and what you want to achieve. If you have not yet had a laryngeal exam (a look at your vocal folds), I will help you coordinate one. This is an important step before we begin treatment. If you have already had a full evaluation with a laryngologist and SLP team, I will coordinate with them to get the information necessary to begin.
From there, sessions typically occur weekly and focus on building sustainable vocal habits, reducing compensatory tension, and restoring confidence in your sound. Most clients see meaningful progress within 6 to 12 sessions, though the timeline depends on the diagnosis and your goals.

I am a licensed speech-language pathologist in Texas, California, and New York. Virtual sessions are available for clients located in those states. Gender-Affirming Voice Training
I work with transgender and non-binary clients seeking voice training as part of their transition. This work is grounded in the same clinical principles as all voice therapy: understanding how your voice works, building sustainable habits, and helping you find a sound that feels like home. I have also put together a collection of resources for clients, students, and clinicians. View GAVT Resources
